Question is, when can I start making money on YouTube?

Before earning money with your YouTube channel you need to know how to start, so here I’m going to explain the basics. As well as before you earn money you need an audience and you need to make consistent videos that viewers really like watching and like anything on YouTube. Which lets creators to monetize their videos on YouTube.

-        * should have 4,000 valid public watch hours in the previous 12 months,
-        *And at least 1000 subscribers,

Now YouTube has been set up these thresholds, because they want creators to be good citizens on the platform and these requirements ensure their teams have enough information to really review your channel. Note that you can only apply to YPP after you cross the watch hour and subscriber thresholds. They will keep you updated on your progress towards hitting these thresholds in the monetization tab in YouTube studio. You can also choose to be notified with an email once you are eligible to apply.

Once your channel does hit these thresholds, you will need to sign the partner program terms and sign up for a Google AdSense account. After all of these steps are completed, then your channel will be reviewed against partner program policies. If everything looks good, then you can start earning money from ads and from YouTube premium subscribers watching your content.

Question 01 :- When will my channel be reviewed?
You think your channel qualifies for YouTube partner program, but it hasn’t reviewed yet, google team usually get back to you in about a month once you hit the review thresholds, but can find more about your channel status on the monetization page in YouTube studio. So keep making great content and focusing on building your audience.

Question 02 :- What if your channel isn’t approved?
If you are not approved for YouTube partner program, it’s likely because your channel doesn’t meet the YouTube partner program policies and community guidelines. You can re-apply again in 30 day’s as long as you still meet the watch hour and subscriber thresholds. Before you re-apply, remember to check the monetization page in your account and review your videos with our YouTube partner program policies and community guidelines. If any violations, please edit or delete any videos that violate these policies.

Question 03 :- Do I have to qualify every year?
No need to qualify on every year, however, try to build up your audience by creating amazing videos day by day. If you are inactive on you channel for six months and fall below the threshold YouTube team may remove your channel from the partner program.

So build up your audience and meet 4,000 valid public watch hours in the previous 12 months and get 1,000 subscribers with good standing, then you ready to earn.
